One of my favorite lazy afternoon scenes from a couple of years ago – White Pelicans hanging out in the peaceful winter sky.

I was out in Humble, Texas, to take pictures of a pair of bald eagles with my friend — after a few hours without much success, I started getting tired — so I decided to enjoy the nice warm sun on a relatively cold day. I sat on a chair and looked up  — here they were, beautiful white pelicans were hanging out in the clear winter sky 😀
