Sleepy mother owl

After the overnight hunt to feed her owlet, a mother great horned owl was resting on a branch at Brazos Bend State Park, Texas.

A mother great horned owl was relaxed, half sleepy, and enjoying the morning sun after the overnight hunt to feed her owlet. It was my first time to see a mother owl and her owlet in the wild, and I totally fell in love with their sleepy faces 🙂
