A Turtle On A Long Journey

A turtle was walking on a quiet unpaved farm road near Chappell Hill, TX. He was on a long journey.

How many times have you seen a turtle walking on a road? In Texas, I quite often encounter them. From some distant away, they look like mysterious moving rocks. From a close distance, they’ll give you a cute turtle look. This is a picture of a turtle that I came across a couple of years ago. He was on a long journey.
